Pink City : Unfocussed
This is a series of out-of-focus photographs of the Jaipur Walled City (Rajasthan, India), also known as the Pink City. More than 250 years old and one of the most famous historical cities of India, Jaipur also happens to be my hometown! The simple technique used in making these images rendered them like watercolour paintings, obliterating detail or clutter and capturing essentially the “flavour”. These images, perhaps, stand in contrast to the current obsession with sharpness and resolution in the world of photography. This series consists of 18 unique images, available as limited edition prints (Edition: 18).
